Episode 24:
Sin
Vash is devastated by the loss of Wolfwood, and Legato doesn't make things any easier.
He controls the kids in the town and forces them to say that its Vash's fault that Wolfwood and
the Gung Ho Guns died. He then walks off, leaving Vash to face the final Gung Ho Gun: Midvalley
the Hornfreak. Midvalley is able to emit sonic waves through his saxophone. Vash is forced
to save some towns people by stepping in front of the blasts but is still able to beat Midvalley.
The final Gung Ho Gun proceeds to kill himself. Vash then confronts Legato. Bluesummers wants
Vash to kill him. Vash refuses, so Legato has some of the towns people shoot at him. This is
still not enough. Legato then has the towns people bring Meryl and Milly forward. They are
about to be killed if Vash doesn't act. Going against everything he stands for, Vash kills
Legato with a shot to the head.
