Trigun: Episode Guide
Episode 16:
Fifth Moon
Vash is sitting in a bar when a man walks up to him and tells him to go to Augusta
City. The man then proceeds to shot himself. Vash knows its Legato so he immediately heads
there. Once in the city he begins to shoot wildly in the air and threaten people. He is able
to get all the people to evacuate exactly as he planned. He eventually happens upon the dead
bodies of Dominique and Monev. Vash then meets E.G.Mine, another Gung Ho Gun. E.G. tries to
beat Vash but fails when another Gung Ho Gun, Rai Dei the Blade shows up. Rai Dei kills E.G.,
and then fights Vash. They fight fairly evenly until Legato interferes. He causes Vash's arm
to turn into a long metal device. Vash emits a powerful blast that nearly destroys the city.
At the last minute he is able to turn it towards the sky. The weapon burns a hole in the fifth
moon. Another legend has been attached to Vash the Stampede as his Angel Arm has shown itself.
When Rai Dei emerges from the rubble he finds Wolfwood there. He tries to get Wolfwood to help
him find and kill Vash, but Wolfwood kills him instead. Meryl and Milly are ordered back to
home office because the insurance company will no longer cover cases involving Vash the Stampede.
