Beast Machines: Vehicons
Megatron- The Predacon commander who was thought to be defeated in the Beast Wars
returns even more powerful and deviant than ever. He escaped from the Autobot shuttle on its
way back to Cybertron from Earth and fell off into Transwarp space. He somehow landed on Cybertron
before the Maximals could reach it. Once there he created a transforming virus and an army of
mindless drones called Vehicons. With these tools he extracted every spark from every Transformer
on the planet. He then proceeded to hardwire Cybertron into a single elegant machine. Megatron's
goal is to rid the planet of organics and the chaos of individual minds. The only thing standing
in his way is a lowly pack of beasts: the Maximals.
Tankorr- Megatron's drones can't seem to defeat Optimus Primal and his group of Maximals,
so Megatron decides to create three generals to lead his drones. He extracts three sparks from
his collection and puts one in each type of drone. Tankorr leads the tank drones. We later find
out that Tankorr is really the spark of Rhinox! Once Rhinox's personality returns he does not
join the Maximals, but decides to run his own agenda. He thinks Megatron has the right idea, but
that Megatron himself is not the right person running the show. Tankorr thinks he would be a much
better leader.
Jetstorm- Jetstorm is the Vehicon general who controls the Aero drones. He is very
cocky and loves to fight. Of all the Vehicons he most resembles a Predacon in attitude. Turns
out his spark belonged to another Maximal we are all familiar with: Silverbolt! In season 2
BlackArachnia is able to reformat him and bring out his old self, although he has changed a bit
in attitude thanks to his ordeal as Jetstorm.
Thrust- Thrust is the Vehicon general who controls the Cycle drones. He doesn't talk
much during season 1. At first BlackArachnia believes him to be Silverbolt, but it turns out his
spark used to be Waspinator. Thrust plays more of a comedy relief roll in season 2.
Obsidian- Formerly one of Cybertron's greatest generals in history, now a general in
the Vehicon army. Obsidian and his partner Strike fought a thousand wars together and won them
all. He is brought back online following Botanica's arrival on Cybertron to combat the growing
organic threat. He is a genius battle strategist. He is also very loyal. His objective is
to protect Cybertron, and right now Megatron IS Cybertron.
Strika- The partner of Obsidian, she too is a genius when it comes to battle strategy.
She doesn't play as big a role as Obsidian does. He does most of the talking for the two of them.
Her form is probably a little more powerful than his though.
