Beast Wars: Episode Guide
Episode 7: Fallen Comrades
One of the Maximal stasis pods have fallen to Earth. They had been in safe
orbit since the Maximals arrived on the planet. Optimus immediately heads out to activate the
new Maximal before the Preds reach it. Megatron expected this to happen, so he sends troops to
ambush Optimus as he leaves. Optimus is heavily damaged and cannot make the run to the pod.
Rhinox, Cheetor, and Rattrap go instead. Megatron deploys his flyers to the pod while he
Tarantulas and Scorponok invade the Maximal base. Realizing the Preds will reach the pod first,
Optimus suggest using a lazer probe to contact the pod. While Dinobot is setting up the array
the Predacons attack. They are fended off by the autoguns. Megatron then heads for the pod.
When all parties reach the pod, Megatron forces the Maximals to disarm by threatening to kill
two tigers. Waspinator opens the pod only to find it empty! One of the two tigers is the new
Maximal: Tigatron. He transforms and drives the Predacons away. Optimus arrives on the scene
and invites Tigatron to join them, but the tiger declines claiming to be more beast than Maximal.
He assures them that he will be there when they need him though.
