Uzumaki Naruto |
The main character of the story.
12 years ago, the demon fox (Kyuubi) was sealed inside of him
by the Fouth Hokage in order to protect the Leaf Village. Not
very bright, but is definitely talented in Ninjutsu and combat
techniques. Naruto is best described as someone who would be
willing to do anything to protect his comrades, but still has
the goal to become Hokage one day. |
Haruno Sakura |
A young, pensive girl who obsesses over Sasuke and battles Yamanaka Ino over who likes Sasuke more. She is not too skilled at Ninjutsu, though makes up for it with her wonderful chakra control and genjutsu. Though we haven't seen much of Sakura fighting, we can expect great things from her in the future. |
Uchiha Sasuke
|
The sole successor of the Uchiha clan, Sasuke lives only for the day when he kills the one person who he detests more than anyone else. Sasuke can be considered a loner, who doesn't associate with many people (even though he's popular among the girls!), but deep down, he truly does care about his friends and comrades. Sasuke is skilled in Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, and masters an eye called the Sharingan which allows him to predict moves before they happen and copy Ninjutsu that has been performed. |

Rock Lee |
Lee is an extraordinary shinobi who was always put down in school because he cannot perform Ninjutsu. To make up for his lack of Ninjutsu, Lee has worked hard all of his life to master Taijutsu, or close combat techniques. Instructed under his idol, Maito Gai, Lee has made sure that he trained every day to surpass what is considered "good enough." Naruto refers to Lee as "Thick Brows" or "Fuzzy Eyebrows" because of his unusual eyebrows.

Tenten |
Though not to much is revealed about
Tenten, we know that she is a master of weapon control, and
even uses weapon summons to conjure up weapons consisting of
Scythes, Kunai, Shuriken, Knives, Katanas, and various other
Blades. |
Hyuuga Neji |
Neji, the prodigious heir to the Hyuuga clan, is the strongest among the ninjas in his clan. Neji possesses the Byakugan, another eye inherited from his clan. The Byakugan allows Neji to see from a great distance and to cover a 360 degree diameter, allowing him to see and block attacks from almost any incoming position.

Nara Shikamaru |
A brilliant (when I say brilliant, I mean it - Shikamaru has an IQ well over 200!) shinobi from the Nara clan who specializes in Shadow techniques, branched off of the Shadow Bind. Shikamaru is very lazy, and would much rather stare at the clouds than practice his Shadow Techniques. Out of all of the participants in the Chuunin Exam, Shikamaru was the only one to pass due to his brilliant fighting style and intellect.

Yamanaka Ino |
Haruno Sakura's rival for Sasuke's companionship, Ino is a very strong member of the Yamanaka clan, and specializes in Mind-Body Transfer and Confusing and Stealing techniques. Ino can be condescending at times, but is one of the strongest female Genin out there.

Akimiki Chouji |
Belonging to the Akimichi clan, Chouji is an obese shinobi whose whole clan specializes in body growth jutsu. The Akimichi's special technique consists of taking various pills to make themselves larger. Chouji, Ino, and Shikamaru's fathers were comrades back in the day.

Inuzuka Kiba |
The Inuzuka clan specializes in training dogs to fight, and transforming into dogs. Though this method may sound sissy, Kiba is no where near sissy. Kiba is arrogant, bossy, and short-tempered. He is very strong, and along with his pet Akamaru, he can cause some serious damage.

Hyuuga Hinata |
Cousin of Hyuuga Neji, Hinata has worked all of her life specializing the Byakugan. Although she is not as powerful as Neji, she can pack a heavy punch when driven to the point of a need for strength. Hinata is constantly trying to change herself, and has a strong crush on Naruto, but is too shy to let him know.

Aburame Shino |
Genius of the Aburame clan, Shino uses bugs to his advantage by storing them in his body, allowing them to feed off of some of his Chakra, while controlling them in combat. The bugs will suck out chakra and prove to be a deadly opponent in battle. Shino is pretty quiet, but is also determined and plans out his ideas before he acts them out.
