KGNE is one of my all time favourite series and although I watched it only because I wanted a break from fighting/shinobi/mecha animes, I was fully engrossed in it and thoroughly enjoyed it. It comprises of 14 episodes and when it finishes, it leaves you wanting more. The story is a sad one and if you like "happy" stories, this is not for you although I strongly recommend it and the ending is a happy one. The storyline was well written and the characters well developed but not perfect. It can also boast of decent animation and an appropriate ending. Too little episodes not for any reason but only because I wanted more! Overall KGNE is a romance/friendship anime series with more pros than cons.
